The Tavern At Phipps launches new menu
ATLANTA, Ga. (June 17, 2019) – Since 1992, The Tavern at Phipps has served over five million patrons with a simple approach—a lively environment with upscale food. The Buckhead hot spot is known for its unique left-revolving door, flying napkins and live music has introduced a new menu to adapt to the needs of its growing clientele.
“The Tavern at Phipps has always been a place where ladies and gentlemen can meet to enjoy a broad menu and bar selection served with generous hospitality,” said CentraArchy CEO Vince Van Brunt. “As we continue to grow with the community we’ve served for nearly three decades, there was an opportunity to fine tune The Tavern formula in a way that appeals to everyone from our business lunch guests to our cocktail hour regulars.”
New menu items include a mild shishito pepper starter dish, fresh pastas and smaller cut steak options. For lunch, the seared ahi tuna salad is so far the biggest hit followed by the Thai kale and Mediterranean sea bass. Regulars will be pleased to see old favorites like Tavern chips and Carnegie style pastrami sandwiches remain. New twists on cocktail favorites are also featured on the new drink menu as well as prosecco on tap.
The Tavern remains an Atlanta fixture, full of traditions that place it in a category of its own. Known for its happy hours and talented bartenders, The Tavern at Phipps has always been a go-to spot for any night out.
As commercial space in the area continues to grow, The Tavern has also become a popular spot for both business lunches and after work cocktails and dining. The new menu changes, paired with minor tweaks to the restaurant’s atmosphere will help accommodate the evolving needs of guests.
