Anniversary celebration set for November 9 beginning at 5 p.m.

ATLANTA, Ga. (September 27, 2017) – Since 1992, The Tavern at Phipps has become a Buckhead tradition with over five million estimated to have walked through its left-revolving door. Guests are invited to help celebrate the restaurant’s silver anniversary November 9, beginning at 5 p.m. Hosted by Atlanta’s “best bartenders” (Jezebel Magazine 2016 & 2017), the evening will feature plenty of dancing, live music and lots of The Tavern’s signature napkins in the air.

“From the very beginning, we wanted to create a place where ladies and gentlemen could meet in a lively environment for good food and a great value,” said Operating Partner of The Tavern at Phipps Alex Zengotita. “Today, The Tavern at Phipps is a unique fixture in Atlanta known as much for its generous hospitality as its broad menu and bar selections.”

The Tavern is full of traditions that place it in a category of its own within the vast Atlanta dining scene. Unique features like a quirky London-imported front door, more than 250 glasses broken behind the bar each week (in the name of flair!), famous happy hours with flowing cocktails, bustling atmosphere and the best looking wait staff have made The Tavern at Phipps a go-to spot for any night out. The classic American fare including hearty salads, premium, over-the-top pastrami sandwiches and trademark Tavern chips (a heaping pile of sharable, crisp tortilla chips layered with an endless choice of toppings) keep guests coming back for more.

The Tavern at Phipps is located at 3500 Peachtree Road and is open daily at 11:00 a.m., 365 days a year. Parking is available throughout Phipps Plaza. For more information, call 404-814-9640 or visit www.tavernatphipps.com.
